PRMICSW SONGWITERS WORKSHOPS - Saturday, May 5th
(LUNCH PROVIDED)

9:00am - 4:00pm - Songwriters Workshop
Songwriters Etiquette - what is expected of you and your co-writers
Co-write with other songwriters while mentors, Duane Steele, Blair Packham  & Tenille circulate between groups.

3:30pm - 5:00 pm - Recording Session
Make a Demo of the song you wrote in the songwriting workshop - Josh Gwilliam

4:00pm - 6:00pm - Sound Check & Rehearsal for Showcase 
Rehearse on stage with your group the song you wrote that day!!!!

6:00pm - 7:00pm - SUPPER BREAK -
This supper break is on your own to have a bite to eat and get looking like a rockstar for SHOWTIME!  

PRMICSW SHOWCASE  - Saturday Night, May 5th

Doors Open: 6:30pm
Show Starts: 7:00pm

Part 1: Songwriters Workshop Groups perform together the song they wrote.

Part 2: Artist Showcase: Pre-selected Artists perform while sharing the stage with Duane Steele, Blair Packham, Tenille & No Limitz

Part 3: Dawson Creek band Like Fire will showcase songs from their new album!

Part 4: Open jam session


Show Ends 1:00am : We hug and say "See ya at the next gig!"

Independant Writing Opportunity - Sunday, May 6th

The CEO of the Belle Petroleum Conference & Business Centre is such a big supporter of local music, they are offering writing rooms available with a light lunch available from 10:00am - 2:30pm for the cost of $25/person. There needs to be a minimum of 10 people pre-paid by 5:00pm on Saturday, after the Songwriters Workshop, to book for this opportunity. In order to take charge of your own writing career you need to take chances and ask those you have just met if they would like to co-write with you. We have found the space, the time, and even the lunch for you at a very affordable price, now it will be up to you to open the door and Create Your Own Success!!!
