WHO are we?
We are Dana Blayone and Sherry Crawford. We are songwriters and singers who head up a band called No Limitz.
We are community volunteers who are passionate about songwriting, and being active the music business industry.
We believe in making a positive difference our world and the people who surround us. This is what we call "The No Limitz Vortex".
HOW "No Limitz" came to be?
Sherry Crawford and Dana Blayone started out as an acoustic duo in 2003 when they discovered a sweet harmonic blend of their
vocals and from there the co-writing began. Together they recorded their first CD in a closet with blankets hanging on the walls
with just enough space for a person and a microphone. This home spun CD called "Dreamin' Big" brought much attention to their
talents and abilities as singer/songwriters that eventually the girls brought a team of talented musicians on board in 2005 when they
were invited to open for Johnny Reid and Corb Lund at a local festival. It took their acoustic duo to a full vibrant sound. In 2007
Dana and Sherry took the band to Calgary to record their second album in MCC Recording Studio. That fall the second album
named after the title track "I Know What I Know...and that's not everything." was released. In July 2008, they released the single, "I
Know What I Know" from their 2nd album to national radio, and that winter they released their rockin’ Christmas song "CRANK UP THE
HEAT". In 2011 and the 3rd Album was launched! After the numerous music conferences, co-writing sessions, and
awesome road trips they narrowed this album to 10 INCREDIBLE songs. Many of them they co-wrote with some amazing friends.
Produced by Josh Gwilliam, these songs lure you in with ear candy you can't resist. It's music with its own personality and a band that
loves to continually blend genres. To date they have also shared the stage with Canadians artists such as Duane Steele, Sean Hogan,
Ian Tyson, Johnny Reid, Julian Austin, Steve Fox and Samantha King among many others. Whether you're talking to them in person
or watching their performance, you will experience their positive energy that will have you believing there really are "No Limitz"!
WHY are we doing this?
Simply because we know that there is an abundance of talent in the Peace Region, but because of the challenges of our
demographics, it’s sometimes difficult to find opportunities to attend conferences. After attending numerous workshops and
conferences in Calgary, Regina, Edmonton, Vancouver and Moosejaw to name a few, we knew we could bring a similar event
right here to Peace River. Since the first year of this conference, we experienced an amazing weekend where all of our delegates
left with feelings of accomplishment and happiness. Great relationships were formed and fantastic songs were written, and
business plans started. We already have a number of registrations in for 2011 and are receiving more. Music is a common thread
that brings people together regardless of age, gender, or level of ability.
WHO is the conference for?
Songwriters, musicians, singers, poets wanting to explore songwriting, anyone interested in more tips & hints to bring their music to new fans,

WHY should other organizations help?
Because it’s all about people coming together to achieve common goals. It’s about supporting the youth of our communities and
mentoring them to become the best they can be. It’s about people helping people, young and old to fulfill their dreams or help
them discover new ones. Together we can create a strong music industry here in the north!
HOW can you help?
FOUR ways you can help:
ONE important way to help is to spread the word about this event to everyone you know! The best form of advertisement is
word of mouth. SO TELL EVERYONE!!
SECOND way to help: The other form of help we need is to partner with a community based organization. We are individuals
and not a society therefore we do not have access to certain grants that are offered to help fund these type of events. We are
always looking for financial support through whatever means individuals or corporations can contribute. We appreciate all the
assistance our community offers.
THIRD way to help: We are always looking for volunteers to help with everything and anything! If you have a special talent that
you think can offer, please call us and let us know. There are plenty of different jobs to go around! Thx :)
FOURTH way to help is... to Donate. Your financial sponsorship would help out with the many expenses that occur with the planning
and execution of a weekend like this. Your donations are greatly appreciated.
