![]() 2012 PRMICSW A HUGE SUCCESS!!! ![]() Celebrating the 5th year for PRMICSW...We girls from No Limitz, Sherry and Dana, want to thank all the participant, mentors and the entire community for another amazing year for the Peace Region Music Industry Conference Showcase & Workshop. AND yes we have to admit we are sooo glad we did it another year!!! Thanks to everyone who continually encouraged (er...hounded) us to do it again! Your love, appreciation, and support was overwhelming.. It was so great to see the community come out to support our local songwriters and artists at the concert! There was 300+ people in attendance and it meant a great deal to us and to our songwriters. You can read great reviews from The Vault Magazine or The Record Gazette for their fantastic coverage of the weekend and concert. Plus you can listen to the songs on this website and if you are a delegate or sponsor send us an email if you need a copy of the songs. Check out the pictures either here at this website or on Facebook under the No Limitz. While your there make sure you hit "like" to keep in contact. |

Even though our intentions were to take a year off due to the large workload and time commitment, we know there is a demand for this type of event. With your continued support we will commit once again to enhancing the music industry of the Peace Region. This weekend conference and workshop has created an awareness of the incredible talent within our region and has given local artists the tools and the courage to write their songs, get on stage and do the work it takes to make their dreams come true. |

The key to the cultural success within our region has been the amazing support from the community sponsors and music industry sponsors. Their financial support has helped create a strong network of artists who are now emerging on to the cultural scene locally, provincially and nationally. With all of the new opportunities that are continually being created for artists as a result of PRMICSW, there are “no limitz” to what the future can bring! |

We've made a few changes to the weekend from past years to make it more managable but still very effective and beneficial to our delegates and general public. The weekend will be over 2 days verses 3 days, but will still involve business sessions and date with a demo on the Friday night, the Saturday will entail the songwriting workshop, recording, and will close with the showcase on Saturday night. Check out the agenda! |
